Golden apple hangs up high,

falls and cracks:

robbed of its bashfulness,

it no longer hides

the core, the seed,

and the treasure dwelling inside.

Crinkly, wrinkly abundant hands

harass this unearthly beauty:

Label it; tag it;

toss it in a crate;

distribute its kinfolk,

and make it their pay.
